Another beautiful day. Monday now, and I still have four motel units to clean (different four) but all the tax stuff is done and I’m looking forward to some art time later today.
I took dragon out side to look at her in the sunlight.
here she is trying to hide her egg in the tussocks. I was wondering if I should leave her glorious mane of fur as it is…with spikes poking through… or treat them with the paverpol
The fur does look rather cool
Treated with paverpol I can make it spiky, and if I use the clear paverpol, then the fur will stay grey rather than be dyed black. like this bit which I used on her hind foot.
I have yet to work out how to make cool looking scales.
I’ve also been working some more on my quilt. I need to get it finished so I can enter it into the Flower show later on in September.
I’ve also heard a rumour about a local wearable art contest, which has me pondering what to enter. The details haven’t been released yet, so I hope there is still some time to go for that.

WOW Corrine - he's really coming along!!! I love the fur! Great addition. Afterall, it can get pretty cold down your way. Any news on more people enrolling for Nina?
The dragon looks amazing! I like the fur with the spikes showing, however for continuity I'd probably use the paverpol on it to make it like the feet. You could always make hime some removeable fur clothes or armour or something :)
