Texture painting

Take a look at thisDSCN0911

I’ve been having huge fun with using paverpol in painting…Kind of like sculpture and painting combined. DSCN0912

The bottom of the picture has been created with possum fur off cuts and paverpol to make it hard. I’ve also used lace…some sari silk yarn, embroidery thread, and mutton cloth to create the texture to start with, then I painted over the whole lot. I’m really pleased with the result.

Wow, that's so effective Corrine. We sell a lot of mediums in the shop but haven't come across this, I must check the catalogs. Cheers.

The texture you have created here is amazing. Loved looking at the pictures enlarged but would love to see them in person even more.

This technique looks like a lot of fun! I can see a lot of potential for it and I think your mountain is just wonderful.
