quilt nearly done….

P9190030

I’ve finished all the blocks for my quilt, now I just need to decide on the pattern to sew them together into.

I quite like this one…

P9190032

This is what the back looks like.

Not only do I need to make the front look good…I have to keep in mind what the back will look like too.

I really like the way it has come together, and I’ll be making more like this. This one will be for Sian’s room, and I’d like to do one each for the boys as well, although they both already have wonderful quilts from their Nan-Nan.

This one belongs to Max.

It is actually two quilts in one. The detail is amazing.

P9190034

Every dinosaur named, made from different fabrics, and just about all of them have little flaps sewn on as well.

P9190035

The back of the quilt is just as amazing.

and this one is Zak’s.

nice and colourful, and no doubt he’ll take it with him when he goes to boarding school next year.

I love quilts - those are beautiful! It's nice that the back is done too so you can choose which side to have up. Your finished dragon in the previous post looks fantastic too.

Hope the snow is letting up for you guys - great spring weather huh?

What a great idea to have it reversible! Like Ruth I love quilts and I look forward to the day that I can make one. I like your new blog picture.

Well, you are a dark horse! I didn't know you were a quilter!! You sure will need a nice heavy one right now down your way. The weather has been so atrocious...I'm actually beginning to get more and more depressed as it goes on. Where's Spring? Not sprung yet. :-( Hope you are well and I love the finished dragon! Hooray!!
