Well after talking about it for quite some time, I’m finally in the process of moving my studio up to the shed at our section. We have gained a fantastic new shelf system and I can now store all my art supplies where I can see them. I have yet to move the huge table up there as Thor has hurt his back again and isn’t supposed to be lifting stuff. – Let alone dragging it up and down stairs.
But anyway…Here is a glimpse of my cool new shelf.
There will be more stuff to sort into sections, but I’m feeling very lucky to have a space that I won’t have to share with the kids.
In the process of cleaning out the playroom to shift stuff up to my new studio, I have also found a number of unfinished…or not even started projects that I could be doing….

Oh that must be a grea feeling to have your own space! I love the shelving, so much easier to be organised with a good set of shelves.
It looks like a good space judging from the photo.
So delighted to find you out here, writes this homesick kiwi. Glenorchy is one of my favourite places in the world, and having wandered through some of your art and ideas, I shall be adding you to my google reader :-)
What a nice place! I'd love to have an art corner like that. BTW, your art is beautiful!

Hey Corrine, love the new work shop. You have me motivated to get mine in better working order and to really crack down on doing some great glass work. Glass casting is my new thing.... Miss you guys and talk soon.
i have so many unfinished projects that it is a bit embarrassing! you really need to use lard for biscuits. nothing else is quite the same but you could try butter and see what happens. i think they would be quite different. as for the buttermilk, i think you need to use that too. if you can't find buttermilk, you can make your own by adding a bit of lemon juice or vinegar to regular milk. let it sit until it starts to clot. our biscuits are like very fluffy rolls rather than scones.
What a great space you have there! And those shelves are awesome - I love shelves too, especially wooden ones. Would love to find some like that one day for my craft room.
I hope the move went well. It's great to make such positive changes.
